I’ve been drawing and painting since a very young age, and art has long been my way of observing and engaging with the world.
I’ve studied and learned from many accomplished artists including in the studio atelier of sculptor and painter Michael Skop, an experience that emphasized working directly from life and developing disciplined habits of seeing, as well as, the studio of Angela Campbell, OPA, with a focus on technical execution and the professionalism of a consistent studio practice.
My goal is to create an expressive yet representational rendering of the ephemeral beauty of life and nature. Through my work, I hope to invite viewers to share in the profound connection between people and the ever-changing phenomena of the natural world.
